The actor Evan Peters, was acclaimed for his portrayal of the main character in Dahmer: The Jeffrey Dahmer StoryHe made an agreement to play alongside him Jared Leto In Tron: Aresthe third part of the Disney series, The Hollywood Reporter tells us. Director Joachim Rønning will direct the feature film, which will start shooting in August in Vancouver. This would be a real blow to the studio, which has been trying for more than a decade to develop what was initially announced as a discontinued Tron 3 and make Tron a brand and franchise in its own right. Disney released the first Tron in 1982 starring Jeff Bridges as video game designer Kevin Flynn who is placed in his own creation and teams up with Tron, a security program played by Bruce Boxleitner. The film was not a huge box office success, but still received two Academy Award nominations. Ironically, none of these nominations involved the visual effects, which over time have become one of the defining aspects of the film and have made it a cult hit.

The 2nd part of Tron was released in 2010
The studio eventually made a sequel, Tron: Legacy, in 2010, which was directed by future Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. This film starred Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde, with the return of Jeff Bridges. However, the latter didn’t have the expected success at the box office, despite again flaunting visual effects and facelift technology. There have been several discussions about a Legacy sequel, with the characters returning. Eventually this project was abandoned and a new direction was taken. While the previous two films were primarily set in the world of computers and programs, Ares’ screenplay, written by Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne, focuses on the creation of a sentient program that traverses the human world. What role will Evan Peters play?
Leto, who has been associated with the project for several years, will play Ares, the manifestation of this program. It’s not yet clear what role Evan Peters will play, but the script calls for a soldier in the computer world and a clumsy player in the real world. Emma Ludbrook, Jeffrey Springer and Leto are the producers of the film. Russell Allen serves as executive producer. Evan Peters is best known for his memorable role in X-Men: Days of Future Past, directed by Bryan Singer, in which he played Peter Maximoff.
