Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane wasn’t happy at all on Saturday night and made his displeasure known.
In a game against the Winnipeg Jets, Oilers head coach Jay Woodcroft sent Kane to the third line; which he didn’t like.
In the second period there were arguments between Kane and defender Brendan Dillon.
During the second break, Kane expressed his feelings in an interview with Sportsnet.
“I didn’t play much in the first period, so I thought I was going to have to fight and spend seven or eight minutes in the penalty box,” Kane said.
The Jets won 3-2 in overtime as Oilers star Connor McDavid appeared to be injured during the duel.
