Is it possible that you might tour with comedy shows again one day?
Lise Anctil
I'm thinking about it more and more because people are talking to me about it more and more, so that's a good sign. It must have been seven years since I was last on stage. I want to start doing small gigs in standing bars. I'm very excited about this idea, but also a little nervous. The older we get, the more we want to be relevant and the more we have to lose! I won't do a big tour because I've already experienced the tour life and know that it's for young people! I want to do a new show but don't know when because I'm filming on STAT, an experience I really like! I've wanted to take part in a series like this for a long time. It's fascinating to delve into people's lives. Everyone talks to me about my character, on the street, in the supermarket, in the hardware store. Even I watch the show and forget I'm there!
If you hadn't been a comedian or an actor, what would your job have been?
Chrystine
I would have liked to be a painter. I draw all the time. I like going to museums, art galleries and being in my studio, it is a moment of solitude that is meditative. I also love singing. I did it in my shows. It touches a deep fiber, it's very liberating to let yourself be carried away by a text, a song. I always found it difficult to take myself seriously when singing, I don't have the technique of a singer or the discipline, but I love singing!
Could you have had a career in the USA?
Benoit Gareau
I believe that in my ultimate fantasy, but there are so many called and a chosen few. People who have my cast and talent, there are hundreds or thousands of them in the United States! For example, when I watch interviews with Ryan Gosling saying he's done hundreds of auditions with no response, it's crazy! Hollywood is the Mecca for all artists who dream of success. All waiters in Hollywood restaurants are actors, singers and often of a very high level. I would have dreamed of having fun in an environment where there is no budget limit! You have an idea and you have the resources. I got a little taste of it in France, but in the United States anything is possible if you're successful.
Are you aware of the positive impact your role as Eric in STAT could have in the cold and impersonal environment of hospitals?

The inspiration for this role came from working with exceptional beneficiary caregivers. When my parents and sister died, I witnessed their incredible work. They are people with hearts who listen and ignore their own suffering. When I was offered this role, I found it interesting. I had other character suggestions, but I actually wanted to play Eric, the servant. We rarely see them in public spaces, even though their work is so important. And I am happy when people in the healthcare sector tell me: “We all know Eric, dedicated and committed.” »
You have participated in several Cancer Research Society challenges. What was the biggest challenge you overcame on one of these trips?
Manon Pepin
Each journey had its own challenges, but the Camino de Santiago… 325 kilometers on foot! I, who had never had a knee problem in my life, realized that there was a weakness at this level! I had to do the last three or four days backwards! I had no choice, it hurt too much… but going backwards is complicated! Some people who went on the trip with me were in remission from their cancer, so I told myself it was nothing and that I had to get going!
I loved the book “Royal Family” which made me laugh and cry. I would like to know if there will be a sequel.
Micheline Paquin
I hear a lot about my story and it touches me very much. A suite? I think about it sometimes, but at the same time this book is a lot about my childhood and it's difficult to pursue it because it would focus on my career as a comedian and actor. I've already said a lot about myself on stage, maybe I've talked enough about myself! I still have a few interesting anecdotes to share from my adult life. Do I have to tell everything? That's another story!
