A former Mormon who became an OnlyFans star after leaving the church claims she and her family were “banned” from the local community – including their own friends and relatives – for their racy online career.
Skyler, 39, of Northern California, left the church in 2018 after being a member for over a decade after becoming disillusioned with its practices.
The religion has some very strict rules, including no sex before marriage, no porn or same-sex relationships, and no alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, or gambling.
Mormons are also required to adhere to a strict dress code that requires all members to maintain a “clear standard of modesty” at all times, while “tight” or “revealing” clothing is prohibited.
Free from constraints after leaving the church, Skyler decided to explore her sexuality — by uploading hot snaps of herself to Instagram, where she now has 168,000 followers. A $15-a-month OnlyFans account soon followed with even more explicit content.

It wasn’t until a follower asked for more explicit content, which he was willing to pay for, that the mother of two set up an OnlyFans page in March 2020.
However, her new career doesn’t sit well with her former community — nor with her new neighbors and friends, many of whom are still members of the Mormon Church.
“We were disfellowshipped as a family,” Skyler told Jam Press.
“I joined the Mormon Church because my husband was a member at the time, but we left because we became frustrated with the strictness of the religion and had to devote so much time and money to it.
“Trucks were not allowed. Don’t drink, don’t smoke.
“Only sugar was allowed. The amount of baked goods we ate caused us both to gain weight and it had a knock-on effect on our marriage.
“It became a sexless marriage. I stopped looking good for my husband.
“We also had a lot of arguments about donating 10 percent of our income to the church.
As part of her newfound sexual freedom, Skyler decided to start posting explicit content on Instagram and OnlyFans — after initially blocking everyone she knew within the church
However, a mother of one of her daughter’s friends discovered her Instagram page and spread the word about Skyler’s risqué online personality
She says the woman called her and “shamed” her about her photos before telling Skyler her daughter was no longer welcome in her home
“They teach you secret handshakes and guide you through the three planes of heaven, which funnily ties into giving more of your money and baking more cookies.
“It was delusional and we had to get out of there.
“Being a Mormon took things away from me as a wife and as a mother. It was time to do something for me, my family, and my marriage.
“As soon as we left we smoked a big joint and had the best sex in years.”
Skyler was outed to her family and friends after a mother of one of her daughter’s friends found her page.
She said: “I’ve always admired women who aren’t afraid to show off and have fun. It’s something I secretly wanted [as a Mormon] but didn’t know exactly how to do it.
“When I started my Instagram account, I did my best to prevent people from seeing me. I went through my entire list of friends and family.
“But one day my posts showed up on the Explore page, where my daughter’s friend’s mom spotted me.
“I was also shunned by other moms when I watched my kids play softball, and once I even cried in a hair salon after the hair stylist said she didn’t approve of what I was doing,” she said
Skyler’s husband also faced backlash when the mother-of-two revealed one of his friends had called him and “yelled” over Skyler’s online profile
Despite the backlash, Skyler insists she is doing nothing wrong while also pointing out the people who are still members of the church but are secretly committing adultery
“There are countless unfaithful spouses in this town, and yet we are the villains,” she said
“She called me and said my Instagram wasn’t ‘appropriate’. I felt embarrassed like a slut.
“Then she said she wouldn’t send her daughter to our house anymore.
“It broke my heart to see that a decision I made hurt my daughter so much.
“I’ve also been shunned by other moms for watching my kids play softball, and once I even cried in a hair salon after the hair stylist said she didn’t approve of what I was doing.
“My husband’s 40-year-old friend found out too – he called and started yelling into the phone. We were completely banned.”
Skyler’s husband added: “The mother who forbade her child from coming to our house is ridiculous. What we do as two consenting adults will not affect the children.
“There are countless unfaithful spouses in this town, and yet we are the villains.
“We are honest about our sexual desires and talk to each other about what we want.
Despite the backlash, Skyler has no regrets about her choice – and says OnlyFans has done wonders for their marriage
She says her husband has been incredibly supportive of her OnlyFans account, for which she charges a $15 monthly subscription fee
“I’d rather explore that path and have a better marriage with my husband than mess with the people of this Bible Belt town,” she said
“Just because their wives don’t give them any shouldn’t be our fault.”
Despite the backlash, Skyler has no regrets about her choice – and says OnlyFans has done wonders for their marriage.
Skyler added, “My husband has been my number one supporter and it would not have been possible without his encouraging and amazing personality.
“After being a housewife for so many years, I now feel sexy and liberated.
“My husband gets horny because he has a hot fetish for women and the idea of other men wanting to make out with me gets him going.
“When we come up with a racy caption together, it spices up our bedroom conversation.
“OnlyFans has added something to our marriage.
“I’d rather explore that path and have a better marriage with my husband than mess with the people of this Bible Belt town.”
