Helen Briggs has confirmed she’s split from boyfriend Chet Johnson and made a controversial statement accusing him of cheating on her.
The 27-year-old ex on the Beach took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to announce she’s split from Chet, 33, after eight years together.
The couple, who have three young children, reunited in 2016 on the fourth season of Ex On The Beach, where Chet described her as “the one who got away.”
In a statement confirming their split, Helen claimed she’d faced “endless” cheating allegations during their romance and went into detail as to why they broke up.
She claimed she’s now seen “evidence” that Chet cheated on her earlier in the month, calling the alleged incident “the last straw that breaks the camel’s back”.

She wrote, “I want to let everyone know that I’ve made the decision to leave Chet for good.” I’ve endured endless allegations of cheating throughout our eight-year relationship, and while it wasn’t easy to deal with, I always chose to to believe him and ignore the rumors because it was easier, even if each time my heart broke a little more inside.
“However, I have finally been presented with the evidence showing that he undoubtedly cheated on me in Devon in early July. I can’t ignore that.
“That was the last straw that broke the camel’s back and I’m making this decision because I know it’s for the best of me, my kids and our future.”
“Chet can continue to live his life the way he wants, but the difference will be that it’s no longer at the expense of my feelings.”
Helen went on to say her focus will be on raising her three children – Ocean, four, Elvis, three, and Peach, seven months.
“My primary focus is and will always be my children and I will be focused on starting my journey as a single mother of three,” she continued.
“I would appreciate if everyone could please respect my privacy at this really difficult time as this is something I am trying to process myself and will need time to recover from.”
“I still have a long way to go before I finally find my happiness, but I know that one day I will.”

Helen has apparently removed all photos of her and Chet together from her Instagram grid and only shows him in a few pictures where he is with her children.
Web has reached out to Chet’s reps for comment.
The news comes months after Helen and Chet gave birth to their third child together, daughter Peach, in December 2022.
At the time, Helen confirmed on Instagram that her daughter had arrived after a dramatic birth that Chet missed due to illness.
Announcing the news, Helen wrote: “Peach Johnson. Welcome to the world… You are everything and even more the perfect addition to our growing family. Born December 21, 2022 – 7 pounds 2 ounces.
The TV personality gave birth to her baby girl via caesarean section on December 21 and shared the happy Christmas news to her 644,000 Instagram followers.
On her Instagram Stories, Helen wrote, “Just wanted to give you all a little update on why it’s been so quiet around here.”
“A week before I was born, I got that cold/coughing attack that everyone knows.
“Luckily, I got better just in time to have the baby, but Chet and the kids were a lot worse than I was.” So they were all bedridden with the condition.
“I had to take my mother to the birth of our daughter because Chet was so poor at the time.
“Then she immediately had to fire back to help Chet with Ocean and Elvis, it’s been a really tough week.”
“But me, Chet and the kids are on the mend, the baby is perfect and healthy. I’m back home now and recovering really well. My c-section was great and couldn’t have gone better!”

Helen announced her pregnancy with a sweet Instagram post in August, as she and boyfriend Chet prepared to become parents to children under the age of three.
The couple gave birth to their first child, daughter Ocean, on November 11, 2019 after Helen went into labor for 22 hours.
A year later, on December 27, 2020, the couple then welcomed son Elvis.
Helen won hearts on season four’s Ex On The Beach after reuniting with ex-Chet, who romantically described her as “the one who managed to get away.”
