A former porn star has been elected a member of the city council of Elmshorn, Hamburg, Germany.
Annina Ucatis-Semmelhack, who retired from the porn industry in 2009, came second on the Free Democratic Party (FDP) list with 10.4% of the vote, earning her an immediate seat on the local council.
After porn, the 47-year-old made a media career with reality shows such as “Miami hot – Annina’s American Dream” before marrying FDP MP Hagen Reinhold in 2022, who just divorced his wife after 16 years of marriage.
However, her leap into active politics is giving her a headache as her election posters are torn down by her admirers to keep as souvenirs, Belgian media reported on Tuesday, citing Bild, urging the local elected official to react.
“Please do not take off: you are crucial for the election campaign,” the neo-politician addressed to her fans on social networks and promised to offer them for sale after the election with a dedication and to donate the profits to charity.
