The Spanish ex-referee Edward Iturralde Gonzales confessed that Florentino Perez, The boss of the merengue club tried to put pressure on him in the 2010-2011 season and even wanted to put him in a room.

Iturralde continued his narrative defending the performance of his colleagues, noting that his statements against the White House chief have been recorded in a report.

The one who put me in a separate room along with my two assistants was Florentino Pérez. I don’t have to hide. There’s a report from the CTA because I put them in the know so they can see what to press. There’s no corrupt referee, we’re above those people,” he concluded.
