Ranging in age from seven to 14, Kimberley claimed her eldest two often ask for their opinion on their abilities when they watch the ITV talent show together.

When asked if she would lend her experience as a TV judge to an aspiring singer, she initially replied, “I think if it’s the right show then it’s a really privileged position.

“There’s something very joyful about finding new talent and feeling like you’ve discovered someone, you know?

“But there’s also this other side of me that I find so soft as a mom because I just couldn’t face the thought of my kids having that experience.

“It’s really quite packed so it would have to be the right show for me to say yes to a judge role I think.”

After a moment’s thought, Kimberley added, “The Voice Kids is really good. I watch The Voice Kids with my boys and they’re always like, ‘Am I that good? Can I do that?” And I say, “Oh, I could never let you do that.”

“I would support them and at least I know exactly what they are going to go through. But yeah, I hope they don’t ask me. Not yet, anyway,” she joked.

“My oldest is definitely quite musical. I don’t think he realizes it himself, but it definitely looks like he’s going that route.

The show, which started in 2017, completes the current line-up with Danny Jones, will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Ronan Keating.

“Just the two older ones are starting to get involved with it a little bit more, especially Bobby because he’s eight now and I think a lot of the kids at school are starting to relate to that in a way, so he’s actually starting to relate to it a little bit more now to listen to .

“He said, ‘Everyone else seems excited about it. Maybe I should be a little bit more.” But you know, before that he really didn’t have much interest in what happened before he was born.

“He said something like, ‘Whatever happened before I was alive was irrelevant.’ Now he likes it and managed to get me to go to his school next week and take a songwriting class teach what should be fun.

“Yeah, so he’s already using it to his advantage,” she joked.
