Brandi Glanville has detailed the latest twist in her facial disfigurement saga, revealing she was given the devastating news that she is not eligible for surgery.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 51, was left disfigured by stress-induced angioedema – a condition that causes swelling under the skin – after allegations that she inappropriately touched her co-star Caroline Manzo.
The reality star has now spoken about her journey to recovery on her podcast “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” and also praised her ex-husband's wife LeAnn Rimes for her supportive gifts.
In an exclusive clip from an upcoming episode, she told co-host James Maas, “Now that the swelling is going down… I'm working with a doctor to try to figure out how to tighten my skin again.”
“A very experienced doctor told me that I wasn’t a candidate because my skin was very tight.”

Back in July, the Bravo star was forced to deny that she had gone under the knife when fans began speculating about her changing appearance.
Months later, Brandi was hospitalized after her face “exploded like a basketball” — a problem she claims was “partially” caused by the “threatening bad editing” of Bravo's “Real Housewives: Ultimate.” Girls Trip” was so stressed.
She tweeted at the time: “I collapsed at home this morning and my SON had to call 911 for help! You have no idea how much stress I'm dealing with.”
The star is now working with a plastic surgeon to manage her condition.
Elsewhere in the podcast, she also spoke about the support she has received from her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian's wife, LeAnn.
Brandi and Eddie had a painful split in 2010 after he had an affair with the 40-year-old singer. Since then, however, the trio has become a happy “modern family,” often spending the holidays together.
The mother-of-two made it clear that everything was under the bridge as she gushed about their “really good” relationship.
She explained: “We have a really good relationship and I appreciate that because a lot of people [are shocked].

Elsewhere in the podcast, Brandi revealed the surprising person who has been a source of support for her during her ordeal – her ex-husband's wife LeAnn Rimes
“Some of my friends still hold on to what happened in the past and hate them, but I think, 'Guys, we've grown and changed.' We are different people now.”
She continued: “It's good to have people I can trust. 'They know some of my secrets… and I trust they won't say anything.'
Brandi added that Eddie and LeAnn visited her in the hospital and that LeAnn recently gave her a thoughtful gift after the two “bonded” over skin care.
“We gave gifts [at Christmas],' She said. “It's funny because Leanne and I have always agreed on skin care. We would get these little machines. I got her a little radio frequency device for Christmas last year, and this year she gave me a cute little device that she likes.
“I'm like, 'How do you find these machines?' One of them cost $700, but it was really good. I definitely enjoyed it.'
She continued: “It's funny because on my presents she always writes, 'I love Lea, not Lea and Eddie.' She clearly bought it for me, it's from her. It is a facial instrument. I doubt Eddie went with her and worked it out with her.'

Earlier this year, Brandi revealed that her ability to speak and taste food was affected by stress-related angioedema.
She told Entertainment Tonight that her lips and face first became swollen in August, explaining, “I've had some health issues that have affected my ability to speak and my ability to taste food.” Basically, my face swelled up – like I was… constantly going into anaphylactic shock and I saw seven doctors and their answer was that it was stress-related angioedema.
“I cried on my birthday. It was November 16th. I cried all night and thought this was my new normal. I would just never look or feel the same. I just wanted to be this giant pumpkin head and be my mouth so to speak, even now I'm tired of talking.
“That's why I didn't do my podcast for several months because I just had to stop and take breaks.” That's crazy. I took my health for granted.'
Her condition was reportedly triggered by reports that she allegedly kissed Caroline non-consensually and touched her breasts and genitals inappropriately during her trip to Marrakesh, Morocco, for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club last January.
She later described the allegations as a “damn scheme.”
