Newly single Chris Appleton looked somber as he stepped out without his wedding ring on Tuesday for the first time since announcing his impending divorce from Lukas Gage.
Kim Kardashian’s 40-year-old hairstylist and the 28-year-old “White Lotus” star tied the knot in a surprise wedding in Las Vegas in April – but Appleton filed for divorce on Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Appleton flashed his ringless hand as he walked alone in West Hollywood amid his marital turmoil, covering his eyes with sunglasses.
The star wore a baseball cap, a white T-shirt and a leather jacket as well as khaki green trousers for the walk.
Appleton was seen chatting on the phone while getting coffee before driving off.

The couple’s separation date is listed as Friday and there is a prenuptial agreement in place.
A source told TMZ that the split was “not an easy decision for Chris, but he tried everything he could to make the marriage work and had to make the best decision for him moving forward.”

The couple’s wedding was only documented on the Hulu series The Kardashians last week, with Kim, 43, officiating their wedding.
She also arranged for music superstar Shania Twain to serenade the couple.
Shania sang, “Chris, Lukas, looks like you did it, come here, let’s do this.”
Both Chris and Lukas said, “We love you!” when Shania broke in with her 1997 classic You’re Still The One.
Lukas and Chris were married in front of just six guests at Little White Chapel after applying for a marriage license in Clark County.

It was the same wedding venue where Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, and Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow previously walked down the aisle.
Two of the other guests were Appleton’s two children – 19-year-old son Billy and 17-year-old daughter Kitty-blu – who he welcomed with salon owner Katie Katon, from Leicester, before coming out as gay at the age of 26.
Kitty-blu Instagrammed several snaps from Las Vegas, including a selfie with Kim while she watched Usher perform at the 5,200-seat Park MGM Dolby Live.
The newlyweds couldn’t keep their lips off each other as they sang along.

“Love is very special and I think meeting someone you really connect with is really special.”
Gage, for his part, said he felt “very happy, very happy and very in love” when he appeared on the March 27 episode of TODAY.
“He’s a good-looking man. Something about being in London, I got a taste of the British and couldn’t help it.’

He also has a recurring role as Lars Olmstead in the 2019 fifth season of the black kidnapping comedy Fargo, premiering later this year on FX.
