The dispute centered on a pair of stolen wireless headphones and possibly a vape pen that had been taken from the victim’s friends. According to police, everyone involved agreed to meet in the alley to fight.

According to a GoFundMe page set up by his family, Lewis was allegedly targeted after he stood up for a minor friend who had just been robbed by the mob.

Police officers found him around 2:05 p.m. that day, bleeding from the head.

The teenager was placed on life support at University Hospital, where he died on Tuesday after doctors made several attempts to save his life.

Treavion is one of three siblings and has a brother named Lovell Randolph III and a sister named Abigail.

Randolph Jr. is currently in prison and has a long criminal history. Records obtained by show he is serving a five-year sentence at the Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp in Elko, Nevada, and was sent to prison in May for use of a deadly weapon – a week before his wife filed for divorce submitted.

Previous offenses include an assault conviction in 2020, convictions for conspiracy to commit a crime of violence and robbery in 2018, and two convictions in 2015 for solicitation and assault with a deadly weapon.

Despite Randolph Jr.’s lengthy criminal record, his son Treavion was described by his family as a good boy and a dedicated student.

Photos of the 16-year-old obtained by show a sweet-faced teenager looking delighted on his elementary school graduation day in 2014, posing shirtless in a selfie and showing off a pair of new earbuds.
