Ella Ding has spoken about her short and unpleasant stay at Made in Chelsea.
The 29-year-old former Married at First Sight star made her debut on the British reality show last year, appearing as star Miles Nazaire’s mistress.
The couple linked on Instagram back in May 2022, but split in October of the same year.
Speaking to Chron Australia, Ella claimed Miles “manipulated” her into appearing on the reality series.
“We met spontaneously and talked to each other for a long time,” she said of their relationship.

‘[Miles] “Somehow manipulated me and convinced me to come on the show.”
“I said to him, ‘I didn’t want to go on the show, I didn’t need the show, I just want to meet you.’ And he was like, ‘It’s just the reality.’ It’s okay.”‘
But it was a far cry from the reality of what Ella faced during her time on MAFS.

Ella criticized what goes on behind the scenes of Made in Chelsea, claiming she “didn’t know” how involved the script was.
“It just wasn’t reality.” It’s like a set – plot, editing, lyrics – I’d say something, they’d make me say it again… They’d have someone remember my lines. “It’s like a movie,” she said.

“Made In Chelsea is pretty deep,” she continued.
“It was actually harder than MAFS and only lasted three weeks. “It was the hardest experience I’ve ever had.”
The podcast host added that the British reality show “ruined” her dating experience, but MAFS was the exact opposite.
“I had such a great time [filming MAFS]. I had the best time,” she continued, adding that she “adored” Mitch Eynaud, who was her TV husband in the show’s ninth season in 2022.

Ella previously said that she and Miles have stayed in touch despite going their separate ways and there is no “bad blood” between them.
She is now happily in love with her partner Guy Palermo, and the two made their relationship public in April.
But the lovebirds have known each other for much longer.
Ella explained that they had been friends for years before they met, but only realized her feelings for Guy earlier this year.

“I don’t think I was really ready all these years,” she told Chron Australia.
“When I saw him on New Year’s Eve, it was like I saw myself from a completely different perspective.”
Ella said Guy would always try to “pursue” her but “the timing was obviously never right.”
“I had to do everything I had done to finally be ready for what he was going to put in front of me,” she added.
The reality TV star went Instagram official with her new boyfriend in April by posting a photo of them posing up a storm outside a Melbourne restaurant.

Since then, Ella has embarked on a new career venture in reality television, serving as narrator for the second season of the Stan original series Love Triangle.
A source told Chron Australia earlier this year that Ella’s mysterious new man likes to keep his personal life private.
