My Mum, Your Dad stars Elliott Davidson and Sharon Benson have split, Web can reveal.
Their split means there is only one couple left on the hit ITV dating show: postman Roger Hawes and singer Janey Smith.
Sources close to Elliott and Sharon, both 53, claimed the distance between the pair was the main reason for their split but they hope to remain good friends.
PE teacher Elliott lives in Essex while Sharon lives in Sunderland and according to insiders they were finding it difficult to spend time together.
The source told Web: “Elliott and Sharon had every intention of making their relationship work, but they knew it was always going to be difficult.”

“Elliott’s job meant he could only visit Sharon outside of school hours and she was dealing with her own life-changing issues, including the death of her mother.” They parted on good terms and remain friends.
“You never know what could happen in the future, but they are so happy to have met on the show and really enjoyed their time together. “But this time it just wasn’t meant to be.”
Fans of the ITV couple were quick to notice that there could be trouble in paradise as both Elliott and Sharon ignored questions about their relationship on social media but were happy to answer other questions.
Sharon also unfollowed Elliott on Instagram, sparking further fears that all was not well.
Elliott and Sharon developed a strong bond just days after meeting on the dating show, which aired in September, but it took a while for Sharon to open up and reveal her true feelings for the teacher.
Their children, Zach, Elliott’s son, and Tia, Sharon’s daughter, who also appeared as matchmakers on the show alongside other contestants’ children, were extremely supportive of the relationship.
And after the show ended, it appeared the couple took big steps to make their relationship work on the outside, posting pictures of themselves with their loved ones with the caption “mixed” and a love heart emoji .
They also planned to move into Elliott’s recently renovated Essex home with Sharon’s other daughter Mimi.

Sharon said: “A lot of people have asked if we would move in together and who would move where. “We’ve talked about it and I think we would move south. “Tia lived in Essex for three years, I know Essex and there will also be more opportunities for Mimi as she gets older.”
But after an initial flurry of loved-up snaps on social media, the couple have remained quiet of late, with Sharon remaining in the North East.
The social worker posted a message on her Instagram Stories in November in which she admitted that she had had “a tough few months” and that it was time to focus on her “body and soul.”
She recently lost her beloved mother, whom Elliott met at her father’s 80th birthday celebrations before her death, which has contributed to her recent problems.
But tellingly, the message contained no references to Elliott, only “family and amazing friends” who praised her for being there for her.
Meanwhile, widower Roger, 59, and 47-year-old Janey have seen their relationship continue to blossom as the couple regularly delight their fans with updates about their romance.
They also face the challenge of a long-distance relationship, with Roger living in Derbyshire and Janey in West Sussex, but the two manage to make it all work out.
The third couple to leave the show, Paul Edwards, 47, and Natalie Russell, 44, ended shortly after the series ended.
ITV confirmed last month that My Mum, Your Dad, hosted by Davina McCall, would return for a second series next year.
