Peter Andre has revealed he has “strict rules” around his teenage daughter Princess and her first boyfriend.
The 50-year-old singer said his guidelines are “very simple” and he hopes they set a good example for his younger children, Amelia, nine, and Theo, six.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker said the 16-year-old princess – who went public with her first romance in May – has yet to sleep over at his boyfriend’s house with her.
He revealed that “everyone knows their three simple wishes for boyfriends or girlfriends” as he explained they have to be “downstairs, the doors are open and it’s day”.
Speaking exclusively to Web to help launch On the Beach’s Summer Sun Report, Peter spoke about his tips for nurturing a teenage romance.

He said, “Any parenting tip or rule is only as good as your home.” My rules at my house are very simple. Everyone knows them, it’s not even a question.
“With friends it’s downstairs, the doors are open and it’s daytime.” If someone is staying the night, you can sleep downstairs.
“We also have younger kids and you don’t want them to see things.” When the relationship ends and you bring someone else in, it doesn’t look right and for the little kids it always means a friend is dead.
“I have strict rules there, but as I said, the doors are open below and the day is open.”
Peter is also a father to 18-year-old son Junior with ex-wife Katie Price and has daughter Amelia and son Theo with his wife Emily.
The singer, who recently returned from a fun holiday at his home in Cyprus, gushed that the blended family is very close and loves spending time together.
He said: “I built the house in Cyprus after buying the land and it was always my dream with the children and eventually it will be theirs.”

“We recently remodeled it a bit and started renting it out. Whenever there is a gap, we go and enjoy it.”
“It’s funny, the kids asked if they could go out and I said to Junior, ‘Look, you can go out at 18 now, but there will be rules.’
“We’ve always done things together as a family.” I can’t remember the last time Ems and I went on vacation and it was just the two of us going out to dinner.
“We do everything together, we go to the cafes, the pool or the beach and we all go out to dinner and play tennis together in the evenings because we have a court.”
“Princess and Junior sometimes want to take some time off, but we spend a lot of time together and the holidays are about being together.”
Peter, who is just starting rehearsals for Grease The Musical London, also said he will fly to Australia later this year for the first time in 20 years.
The TV star said he’s “excited” to be working Down Under so he can spend as much time as possible with his mum Thea, 87, and dad Savvas, 80.
He told Web: “I’m going to Australia for my first gigs in 20 years, which I’m really excited about.” The reason I’m excited is because of my mum and dad.
“I want to train more in Australia so I can see them.” Of course I go out to see them when I’m not working, but the more often I can go out to see them the more exciting it is.
“Mom and Dad are at a stage now where quality time with them matters.”
