EXCLUSIVE Trump releases video of border ‘invasion’ amid tax bomb

Former President Donald Trump blasted Joe Biden’s immigration policy on Wednesday with a new video in which he said no more taxpayer money should be spent freeing illegal immigrants who are being held at the border.

“Our border is open because Joe Biden ordered it open – and because Biden broke the law and tore it to shreds,” he says in the video, sourced exclusively from .

“He tore up our system and he’s destroying our country.”

It comes a week after Trump revealed his plans to deal with big tech in another cleverly produced video outlining his free speech policy.

And it follows action by conservative states on the Supreme Court to uphold Trump-era Title 42 immigration restrictions.

They were due to be lifted Tuesday night, sparking chaotic scenes at the border in El Paso, Texas, and in Yuma, Arizona, where hundreds of people were gathering to enter the United States

Trump said the country was “under invasion.”

“Days ago, 16,000 illegal aliens were encountered crossing the border in a single 48-hour period,” he said.

“A colossal migrant caravan recently poured across the Rio Grande and into the streets of El Paso, Texas.

“And the people and the police didn’t know what to do about it. It really is a massive invasion.

“Any kind of amnesty would now be a disaster.

“It rewards Joe Biden’s lawlessness, and it rewards the criminal cartels, and it rewards everyone who has broken our nation’s laws because they have never done anything to our country like they are doing right now. Our country is being poisoned.”

A group of about 50 young men gathered behind Trump’s border wall in front of Yuma late Tuesday evening. They said they were targeting repeal of Title 42.

“We all heard about the 21st,” said a 29-year-old man traveling from the Dominican Republic, referring to the date the ordinance was supposed to end before the Supreme Court issued a temporary lockdown.

Title 42 allows authorities to immediately deport arrivals during a public health emergency without the opportunity to seek asylum.

The Mayor of Yuma said the city must start releasing detainees onto the streets soon as the capacity of the shelters is now far from being stretched.

Sending more resources, Trump said, would not solve the problem.

“This has nothing to do with asylum: everyone knows that this is a pretense and a scam.

“Anyone who pretends otherwise is playing into the hands of Biden and the criminal cartels. This is about Biden’s lawless and criminal misconduct.’

Trump has already had a hot week.

First came the House inquiry into the January 6 riots. The committee recommended that prosecutors bring four charges, including insurgency.

Then House Democrats released his tax returns on Tuesday, which show he repeatedly paid little federal income tax between 2015 and 2020, despite reporting millions in income.

After launching his 2024 campaign in Mar-a-Lago last week, multiple polls suggest he now trails Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as the Republican first choice.

In response, Trump released the first of his political videos last week.

It seized on recent revelations about the way Twitter had been cracking down on misinformation that conservatives believe has been unfairly targeted.

Steve Bannon told that Donald Trump’s stalled campaign needs to focus on Biden, not Ron DeSantis, and that he needs to act like a “government-in-exile.”

The former president said the release of the Twitter files “confirmed that a sinister group of Deep State bureaucrats, Silicon Valley tyrants, leftist activists and depraved corporate news media have conspired to manipulate and silence the American people “.

This week, Trump’s former strategist Steve Bannon said that’s exactly the course he needs to take.

“Trump is a counter-puncher. He needs a slide,” he said Monday at a meeting of Gen Z and Millennial Conservatives in Phoenix, Arizona.

“He should be attacking Joe Biden’s politics every day.”
