But not for Victoria Beckham and Romeo's ex-partner Mia Regan.
The fashion designer has promised to continue working with the model, who split from Posh's middle son earlier this month after a five-year on-off romance.
Victoria, 49, is still “very close” to Mia, who has been her muse for her fashion business for some time.
The model has worn her items and promoted them on social media – and sources close to the family say she will continue to do so.
One told the Mail: “Victoria absolutely loves Mia and is really sad that she and Romeo have broken up.”

“She gets it, they are a young couple and of course the chances are that they won't stay together forever, but she has her own relationship with Mia and the two women will continue to work together in the future.”
“They both love fashion and had some ideas about what they could do together, and that remains the case.” They have a really close bond and love working together. They agree when it comes to fashion and their preferences.
“There is absolutely no awkwardness, it's all consensual. “Even Romeo won't mind, it's all very adult, a lot of young men wouldn't be happy about a situation like that.”
In October 2022, Victoria and Mia, 21, who models for companies including H&M and Gucci, launched a denim collection together as part of the former Spice Girl's VB fashion collection.
However, the launch came after Romeo, 21, and Mia split.
Friends of Victoria say she has always had a close relationship with Mia and the two stuck together during her dispute with Nicola Peltz – the wife of her eldest son Brooklyn.
One said: “Victoria always valued Mia during this time, she had always dreamed of having good relationships with her sons' partners. “While things were difficult with Nicola at the time, she and Mia were so close.”

It was revealed the couple, who moved into a flat in south London together last year, split two weeks ago when they failed to post anything about Valentine's Day on Instagram.
They began dating in 2017 before being apart for a few months in 2022.
Romeo confirmed the split over the weekend, writing on Instagram: “Mooch and I separated after five years of love, we still have a lot of love and respect for each other and still maintain a strong friendship and always will.” She also insisted insisted that they remained friends and said, “That’s not who we are.” [together] romantic, but we share a lot of love for each other… after five years we became friends hehe.”
She followed her statement with a series of red love hearts.
