BUENOS AIRES, May 24th (RHC) – Argentina’s Minister of Culture, Tristán Bauer, attended the opening of the Néstor Kirchner exhibition this Wednesday. Imagination and Power conducted by the Télam news agency as a tribute to the former President.

According to the Ministry of Communications and Press, the event will take place at 5 p.m. local time at the cultural center, which bears the name of the person who managed to reduce poverty and unemployment and who ordered the reform of the Supreme Court. and promoted the trials of perpetrators of crimes against humanity during the last civil-military dictatorship in that country (1976-1983).

A trained lawyer, Kirchner served as Argentina’s President from May 25, 2003 to December 10, 2007, during which time he implemented important societal changes.

In addition, it helped strengthen Latin American integration, rejected US interference in the region and managed to get the International Monetary Fund out of this country after canceling the existing debt.

According to Télam, the exhibition offers a journey through the most significant moments of his management and life through a selection of historical images that explore his human and political figure.
