Expectations in Bolivia for the exhibition on the Essequibo Territory

The exhibition will open this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Plurinational State Time in the premises of the Simón Rodríguez Cultural Center, attached to the diplomatic mission of the Bolivarian nation.

Addressing the issue last Thursday, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro warned against the media campaign by the oil company Exxon Mobil to prevent the holding of the consultative referendum on the defense of Guyana Esequiba on December 3rd.

This American transnational is financing a “dirty campaign” and the United States government is behind it, denounced the dignitary during an event with social movements in defense of Essequibo at the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park in the eponymous state.

According to Maduro, this campaign is being promoted through the media and social networks and is behind it “a lot of money from Exxon Mobil,” which is trying to sabotage and confuse people and thus prevent the referendum from taking place.

The President called for attention to the attempts of the national extreme right to confuse Venezuelans and reiterated the call to further strengthen the “Venezuela Todo por la Guayana Esequiba” campaign that is taking place across the country.

“We will go from house to house, face to face, we will look for the man, the common woman, the young man, we will search the whole area, we will tell the truth,” he affirmed.

To those who want to sabotage, the head of state said, the people must answer on Sunday, December 3: “Peace, unity, Guyana Esequiba, vote for what is ours.”

He stressed that his government was acting correctly in accordance with the constitution “because we want peace and national unity.”

Maduro believed that the people, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), are now more united than ever and that the country is more powerful than ever and is on the right side of history.

The FANB is distributing throughout Venezuela the electoral materials to be used in the consultative referendum on December 3 in defense of Guyana Esequiba, official sources confirm.

According to the schedule published by the National Electoral Council, this process of all federal agencies must be completed by November 29.
