About twenty people were injured in an explosion that destroyed the facade of a hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, according to CNN's Fire Department.
“There are 20 in total. 19 of them were treated on scene and/or transported to the hospital and another patient managed to get from the scene of the accident to the hospital on their own,” said Craig Trojacek, spokesman for the city fire department.
One person is said to be in critical condition and two have serious injuries, while the others only suffered minor injuries.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they noticed the smell of gas, but the hypothesis that a gas leak was the cause of the explosion has not yet been confirmed.
