Last Friday, the artist wrote to her admirers in Bordeaux and Toulouse that for medical reasons she had to cancel the concerts planned for the same evening and the next day. “I consulted three specialists today and after being examined by an ENT doctor in Bordeaux, I was told that I absolutely had to take more care of my voice, otherwise my condition would deteriorate significantly. I'm sorry and I'm so disappointed. »

The situation did not improve over the weekend, meaning Charlotte Cardin will not be able to appear on stage as planned in the five other European cities that were scheduled to host her in the coming days.

“It is with regret that I have to cancel all of my concerts this week for medical reasons. As you know, last Friday I completely lost my voice and although I rested all weekend, my body is recovering slowly,” she wrote on her social networks on Monday morning.

Five concerts postponed

The scheduled performances in Liège, Lille, Caen, Rennes and La Roche-sur-Yon are postponed and the singer assures her admirers that new dates will be announced as soon as possible.

I'm sorry, I really feel like I'm letting you down and that makes me very sad.

Charlotte Cardin was able to give two concerts in France at the beginning of last week before falling ill. One of these sold-out performances took place at the famous Olympia in Paris. “I’m speechless,” she simply commented in an Instagram post the day after this first concert in the legendary venue.

The Montrealer will return to France next December, this time to the Zénith. In the meantime, she is expected to perform four shows in a row at Place Bell in Laval between February 8th and 11th.
