Formula 1 opens the 2023 season this Sunday at the Bahrain GP. Current champion Max Verstappen hasn’t disappointed, leading the first test where he started from pole position. Sergio Pérez, the other Red Bull driver, started from second position and demonstrated the team’s dominance of the energy drink. Leclerc’s Ferrari passed Pérez at the start. Behind them Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso fight in the upper area. The Spaniard has been fighting with the two Mercedes since the start of the race. The Asturian Aston Martin’s leap was spectacular and the English marque seems to have finally given the two-time Spanish champion a competitive car that will go head-to-head with the favorites ten years after his last Formula 1 win.
