“Since announcing my retirement from Globo, I have received an avalanche of extremely loving, kind, welcoming and generous messages from many people. So I couldn’t help but come here to thank each and every one of you. Thank you for this immense affection I have received. Thank you,” he began, who doesn’t have a profile on the social network.

The presenter also spoke about the “mixture of feelings” he is experiencing after being fired from the network where he debuted as a reporter for GloboNews in 1996. “After all, it’s been 26.5 years at TV Globo, during which I was able to fulfill a dream of a young journalist who dreamed of working at Globo around 40 years ago,” he reported.

“I can only thank you, especially for the last 11 years, where I’ve had my lunch break every day and been able to do what I’ve always liked, which is working with news, with information. Saying what I believed should be said and I said be transparent and I was. Be absolutely honest and I was free to do that,” continued William.

Then Fábio revealed his plans to pursue another profession outside of journalism: “Some people don’t know, I’ve also been a psychologist for a few years. I work in two things.
