Red Hot Chili Peppers fans are furious after the band announced that they have added more dates to their Australian tour with Post Malone next year, but skipped one major city.
The band will be traveling Down Under in January-February 2023 to perform in the big stadiums.
The tour will include performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland and Dunedin but the group will not travel to Adelaide, Hobart or Darwin.

A handful of fans took to social media to express their disappointment that the legendary rock band will not be visiting South Australia during their stay.
“Australian” tour,” Instagram account @justadelaidethings sarcastically captioned a tour announcement post.
“It’s such a shame that SA is once again neglected,” commented one user.

“Five full days between Melbourne and Perth. Just saying,” wrote one user.
“Don’t complain, they might change their minds and come,” said another.
In July, the Red Hot Chili Peppers announced they would be touring Australia and New Zealand with Post Malone.

Due to popular demand, they added second shows for Sydney and Melbourne.
The band’s Melbourne-born bassist Flea hinted earlier this year that they would be touring Australia soon.
He told The Daily Telegraph at the time: “We’re definitely coming.
“We’re all fully booked until the end of this year, so I don’t think we could get there this year.”
It’s been four years since Post Malone last performed in Australia, and Red Hot Chili Peppers have not toured Down Under since 2019.
In April this year, the legendary alternative rock band were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (pictured during the ceremony).
Flea, who owns property in NSW, was last there for a holiday in December 2021.

During the ceremony, drummer Chad Smith named former members of the band because “they’re all part of our journey.”
Anthony Kiedis added that the band’s story is “not a story of individuals”.
“When we come together, something happens that is much greater than the individual parts, we are much greater than the sum of our parts,” Kiedis said.
