Fantasia Barrino made quite an impression at the BAFTA Tea Party held at Maybourne Beverly Hills on Saturday.
The 39-year-old actress opted for a colorful outfit for the star-studded affair, where she posed for a photo with Janne Millichip and Diane Warren.
The former American Idol winner, who recently spoke about how she “lost everything” in her early days in entertainment, wore a flowy floral top to attend the event.
During the event, Barrino tucked her top into a matching midi skirt, which also featured a floral print.
The hitmaker completed her look with a pair of high heel shoes and accessorized with several pieces of jewelry.

The Tea Party took place just weeks after the release of the musical drama The Color Purple, which starred Barrino.
The feature film is based on the novel of the same name by Alice Walker, which was originally published in 1982.
The book was adapted into a 1985 film directed by Steven Spielberg and turned into a musical, which premiered on Broadway in 2005.
Set in the early 20th century, “The Color Purple” revolves around the lives of several African-American women living in the southern United States.
In addition to Barrino portraying Celie Harris-Johnson, the film also features the talents of an ensemble cast including Taraji P. Henson, Colman Domingo and Halle Bailey.
Whoopi Goldberg, who portrayed Celie in the original film, made a cameo appearance in the new version of The Color Purple and served as one of the producers.
The soundtrack for the feature featured contributions from various artists, including Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion and Jennifer Hudson.

The official premiere of The Color Purple took place in London on November 20th and was released in the United States on Christmas.
The feature proved to be a huge success with critics and currently has an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
According to Box Office Mojo, the film grossed nearly $56.4 million worldwide.
Barrino was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for her work in the film, although the award ultimately went to Emma Stone for her role as Bella Baxter in Poor Things.
