Farm Vacations Serve Guests and…

Berlin (OTS) – Around 300,000 visitors participated in Berlin's International Green Week, the largest food and agricultural trade fair in Europe. 1,400 exhibitors from 60 countries presented current trends from January 19 to 28, 2024. Among them are the agricultural holidays in Austria.

“Germany is the most important source market for agricultural holidays and Berliners in particular are traditionally very interested in agricultural holidays. Green Week offers the opportunity for personal and authentic contact with those interested in the 'agricultural environment' of the Austrian presence”, explains Mag. Hans Embacher, General Director of the Federal Association for Agricultural Holidays in Austria.

Exchange platform with experts from all over Europe

For 93 years, numerous professional and political visitors have gathered during Green Week to discuss current issues in agricultural policy in a varied support program.

Farm Holidays Austria has also been present here for 35 years. “As Europe's largest agricultural fair, International Green Week offers an ideal platform for exchanging ideas with leading agricultural representatives, colleagues and experts from across Europe. Current developments and challenges are discussed here, as is the legal framework in Austria and other important markets,” said Embacher.

Private visitors particularly appreciate the comprehensive information and competent advice on how to combine agricultural products with holiday offers.
