One person was killed in a serious traffic accident in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu on Friday, January 5, 2024.

One person died on Friday evening in a violent exit from the street in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu in Montérégie, near the Chemin des Vieux-Moulins.
There were four people in the vehicle, which was traveling on Route 219, at the time of the tragedy.
Another passenger was seriously injured, but his condition is stable.

The accident department is investigating the circumstances of the accident that occurred on Friday, January 5, 2024, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, near the Chemin Des Vieux-Moulins.

The other two occupants of the car suffered minor injuries.
The accident department is investigating the cause of the accident.
Route 219 is temporarily closed near the Chemin des Vieux-Moulins and will be reopened to traffic.
