The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) reported an injured person to Noovo Info.
Guillaume Allard, who witnessed this “fatal accident” live, decided to tell his story and reported that a lady had been seriously injured.
The first responder told Noovo Info that the lady in her vehicle was badly hit by a pickup truck that apparently went airborne from a road parallel to the highway.
The collision would have caused more. The SQ said a total of four to five vehicles were involved.
After stopping his truck, Mr Allard stormed towards the woman's vehicle, who was seriously injured.
“I needed help opening the door. I saw nothing in the car except airbags and blood everywhere,” he wrote to the author of these lines.
Mr Allard claims to have spoken to the woman while he waited for help so that she would not lose consciousness.
“I was really stressed but prepared for the worst,” he said. “I hope she makes it…”
The Good Samaritan mentions that he also rescued a mother and her child who were stuck in their car between a truck and the median. He said he pulled the boy from the vehicle before helping the mother.
“There was smoke and lots of gasoline and oil all over the ground under the cars,” he added.
“I thought the worst was going to happen.”

The accident caused significant traffic congestion and significant deployment of emergency services during rush hour. Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. According to Mr. Allard, a total of two people were ultimately transported to a hospital.
