Fátima Bernardes and William Bonner have been separated for seven years and are spending Christmas together TV

Fátima Bernardes and William Bonner met this Monday (25) to celebrate Christmas with their family. Although they were separated, they made it a point to spend the day with their children Beatriz, Laura and Vinícius. Also present at the meeting were MP Túlio Gadêlha, friend of the moderator, and Natasha Dantas, wife of the Jornal Nacional moderator.

The record was shared via Instagram Stories by Beatriz Bonemer, one of the former couple's heirs. In addition to the two communicators and their current companions, other people posed for the photo.

Fátima and Bonner announced the end of their marriage in August 2016. They had been together for 26 years. The separation surprised the public. “Out of respect for the friends and fans we have made over the last 26 years, we have decided to announce our separation.”

“We remain friends, admirers of each other’s work and proud parents of three incredible young people. That's all we have to say on the subject. As always, we thank you for your understanding, affection and respect. Fátima and William,” the couple wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Recently, in an interview with Quem, the presenter spoke about the public's reaction when they found out about the breakup. “I do not understand why. We announced our separation so calmly, it was so settled. A 26 year marriage has been a successful marriage. There is no reason not to believe in love.”

I got into television very early, at the age of 25. A year later he was already presenting. I don't think I gave up anything because it was my dream to be there. Then I married William and since we had the same job, there was mutual understanding and professional commitment. It made it a lot easier and worked really well. I don't even think I postponed my dream of becoming a mother.

“We started trying to have a child when I was 32, but we had difficulty getting pregnant. We got inseminated, I got pregnant and by the time I went to Jornal Nacional I already had three children,” he added.
