Faustão is replaced by two former presenters Itatiaia

The Faustão na Band program will officially end in July, but the channel has already decided who will replace Fausto Silva in the programme. According to information from the journalist Flávio Ricco, Glenda Kozlowski and Zeca Camargo are selected.

Former Globals must complete a daily program in the same time slot. The novelty format has not yet been defined, but it should follow the line of a popular program. Ignácio Iglesias of CQC, A Liga, Pesadelo na Cozinha and 1001 Questions will be in charge of production alongside Zeca Camargo.

Cris Gomes, Beto Silva and Renato Moreira, who left Globo with Fausto Silva to coordinate the program, are leaving the channel. The daily program will continue until the end of July, moderated by João Guilherme Silva and Anne Lotermann.

Faustão leaves the band

Fausto Silva, 73, left the band just over a year after the daily show’s debut, which would have cost the channel losses. A statement said the decision to end the program was made “by mutual consent”. However, the moderator would already be exhausted.

The list of reasons why Faustão would have left the canal is long. One of them would be the low viewership of the show, which in Ibope, in Greater São Paulo, was between 2 and 3 points, while the target was 8 points.

Throughout the attraction, which lasted just over a year, Faustão saw all the dancers and staff fired from other areas, and even used his own money to keep the program going in his own way.
