‘Fear the Walking Dead’ star Sam Underwood has been arrested on domestic violence charges after he allegedly “beaten” a woman during a heated argument.

The 36-year-old English actor was arrested in Los Angeles at 2:30 a.m. on October 7 after he was involved in an argument that turned into a physical altercation with a woman whose identity has not been released.

Police officers were called to the apartment where they found the woman with visible marks on her body, TMZ reports. She didn’t need medical attention.

Underwood, who is married, was arrested for assault and sent to prison. He denies the allegations.

The actor was in a cell for 10 hours before being released, the outlet reported.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is currently deciding whether to file criminal charges against Underwood.

According to TMZ, Underwood’s lawyer has photos, video and audio recordings that allegedly refute the allegations against him.

Underwood is married to California-born actress Valorie Curry and the couple tied the knot in July 2016.

They met while filming The Following in 2013, in which Underwood played twins Luke and Mark Gray and Curry played Emma Hill.

Underwood starred alongside Alec Baldwin in the theater production of Equus and also had roles in Homeland and Fear The Walking Dead – a prequel to AMC’s Walking Dead.
