Canadian golfer Adam Hadwin appeared to be in high spirits after fellow Canadian Nick Taylor won the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday.
Hadwin opened the bottle of champagne to celebrate Taylor’s achievement. On the fourth hole of overtime, he hit a long putt of 72 feet against Tommy Fleetwood.

As Hadwin approached Taylor shaking a bottle of champagne, he was caught by a security guard who lunged at him at full speed, pinning him to the ground.
The guard later helped Adam Hadwin to his feet with the help of the tournament director and organizers who knew him very well. The golfer didn’t make a fuss about it, at least on the green. He wanted to keep partying.
The sequence can be observed from different angles.
In a press conference, the champion said he hoped his good friend didn’t get up bruised or broken from the tackle.
Later that evening, Hadwin laughed at the footage while commenting on a photo on Twitter, asking that it be displayed at the Louvre.
