Fedez becomes an NGO: "My ship". The latest stunt against Meloni and Salvini

Fedez: “I want a ship with my face to help NGOs”. It’s the latest gimmick from the Milanese rapper, who talked about it on the latest episode of his Muskio Selvaggio podcast. Fedez has expressed his willingness to help NGOs to Cecilia Strada, the podcast host and daughter of Emergency’s founder. At the same time as buying a ship, the rapper has announced that he will board the ResQ ship for a mission in the Mediterranean. Then he says more or less seriously: “I want to see how much a ship costs, I also want mine to just put my face on it and show it to scare people”.

Fedez does not want to limit himself to a donation to an NGO, but really wants to “show his face” in every way. This could be his latest ploy to attack the government on the thorny issue of immigration after recent decrees regulated the activities of NGOs and the tragic shipwreck of migrants in Cutro.

The hypothesis of an NGO ship with the face of Fedez collecting migrants at sea and asking for a safe harbor from the government of Giorgia Meloni and Matteo Salvini would be somewhere between the comic and the surreal. Obviously, Chiara Ferragni’s husband’s project remains to be seen, also given the playful tone of his statements. In the past, there has also been talk of Fedez possibly getting involved in politics and even founding his own party, but in reality his involvement has been reflected in other things. Last but not least the episode of Last Sanremo in which the rapper snapped the photo of the deputy minister and exponent of the brothers of Italy Galeazzo Bignami. Who knows if his words will have tangible implication this time or will prove to be the usual joke to attack the centre-right.
