Fern has had a tough time lately, admitting she’s in pain “all the time” while awaiting surgery for her arthritis.

While also embarking on an emotional journey on her new Channel 5 show, she visited the Buckinghamshire home where she lived from when she was a child until she was six.

In the episode, which aired Wednesday night, Ferne got emotional as she entered her childhood bedroom at the home, which is located in Chalfont St Peter.

She recalled “didn’t know” her parents, actors Tony Britton and Ruth, split when she was a young child, saying all she knew was that her father “didn’t live here.”
