In recent years, Fernanda has stayed out of the channel limelight and invested in social media, where she’s now a big name with 6.9 million followers on Instagram. In a statement on the end of the relationship with the presenter, Rede Globo settled all disagreements between the parties and emphasized that the doors are always open to a possible return. Fernanda Gentil stayed in the house for 15 years and during this time she covered the World Cup, the Olympic Games, hosted the programs “É gol”, “Esporte Espetacular”, “Zig Zag Arena” and “Se joga”. Fernanda Gentil continues to keep the doors open for possible projects on Globo and on all its platforms, following the new contract models the channel said. The presenter hasn’t revealed exactly what the next steps in her career will be, but she said she’s happy.
