Few Quebecers make the top 100 highest-paid CEOs in the country

According to a ranking by Global Governance Advisors, few Quebecers rank among the highest-paid CEOs at the helm of a Canadian company.

The list was compiled from CEO compensation for fiscal year 2022.

Alain Bédard, at the helm of TFI International, is ranked 18th, Mirko Bibic, CEO of Bell Canada, 23rd, and Charles Brindamour, Big Boss of Intact, 28th.

In the middle of the ranking are Alexandre L’Heureux, CEO of WSP Global (32nd place), Laurent Ferreira, CEO of the National Bank (36th place), but also Marc Parent, Director of CAE (39th place) and José Boisjoli, CEO of BRP (51st place).

Grocery store Metro CEO Eric La Flèche ranks 72nd with a base income of $1.034 million and bonuses of $1.483 million.

He is closely followed by Denis Ricard, CEO of iA Financial (74th place), and Lino Saputo Jr. at 76th place.

Quebecor’s President and CEO, Pierre Karl Péladeau, is 96th in this ranking.
