The first pictures of actor Jaafar Jackson in the role of his famous uncle Michael Jackson have appeared on social networks and the resemblance is uncanny.
In the video shot behind the scenes of the filming of the film about the life of the King of Pop, we can see Jaafar Jackson – Michael’s nephew – performing the hit “Man in the Mirror” by doing a few dance steps with the gestures of his uncle.
Remember, it was director Antoine Fuqua (“Training Day”) who was commissioned to make this highly anticipated film about the life of Michael Jackson, simply titled “Michael.” The feature film marks Jaafar Jackson’s big screen debut. Jaafar, 27, is the son of Jermaine Jackson, brother of Michael and former member of the Jackson 5.
According to the trade site Deadline Hollywood, Michael will not refrain from mentioning the darker and controversial parts of Michael Jackson’s life in the film. The King of Pop died in 2009 at the age of 50 from cardiac arrest caused by a cocktail of sedatives.
