2022 was a great movie for horror movie fans. We start the year with the new ‘panic‘ and we had good surprises like ‘X The Mark of Death‘, ‘the black phone‘ and ‘to smile‘. But the best movie of the year selected in our special issueis the celebrated terror’Brutal nights‘ (Barbarian).
With Justin Long (‘Hungry Eyes’) and Bill Skargard (“It: The Thing”) won the film impressively 93% agreement with Rotten Tomatoes.
‘Brutal nights‘ (Barbarian) premiered today in Brazil for star+ and it deserves all the hype: it’s scary, it undermines expectations, and it’s extremely smart. You can never imagine what will happen, and that makes it all the more terrifying.

Brutal nights follows a young woman who travels to Detroit for a job interview and rents a house. However, when she arrives late at night, she finds that the house is already rented by someone else; a strange man (Skarsgard) sleeps in it. Ignoring her instincts, she decides to spend the night at the house, but soon discovers that there is much more to worry about at the house than its unexpected guest.
The cast still has Justin Long, Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunöhler and Jaymes Butler.
