Final episode of Che tempo che fa Littizzetto imitates Salvini

Final episode of Che tempo che fa, Littizzetto imitates Salvini in his letter of welcome to Rai: “Bello ciao”

Luciana Littizzetto’s farewell monologue on Rai 3 is not without its jokes – and controversy – and revolves around her farewell to Rai. After a series of sketches to furnish the studio to be “sold on Ebay” or donated to “Antonella Clerici”, the Turin comedian jokes about the holidays that the presenter Fabio Fazio has to plan. Watch some familiar faces of public service, such as Mara Venier – protagonist of the final days of a vibrator faux pas – and then challenge Fazio: “Shall we turn to the political page?” And he: “Tonight you can you do what you want.” We then start at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, “with Joe Biden’s Abbiocco”, with whom “Er Meloni” apparently “started a relationship”. Part “grandfather of Heidi and Heidi”, part with the Prime Minister’s role as “carer” to the President of the United States. After the photo of the leader of the Italians and Bidens brothers, Littizzetto has the director show the shots of Giorgia Meloni and Emmanuel Macron, as well as Meloni and Xi Jinping. Then comes the shot of her next to Justin Trudeau: “Here he was telling her he was worried about LGBT rights in Italy and she grimaced…”. While, “In the photo with Donald Trump’s ideologue, can you see the passion he was looking at him with?” The comedian asks, “How can you be so close to Biden and Trump’s ideologue together?”

And finally the classic letter “addressed to Viale Mazzini”. He begins: “Dear Rai, you started with a canal and now you have more than Venice.” You have Rg1, Rg2 and for the time being also Rg3. You who no longer have the Annunziata. Here we are at the end of our relationship. We have defied seven governments. They have been truly beautiful years full of joy, hard work, great reviews and important guests. Every year we hit some shit and they moved channels, but we fought back: thanks largely to our millions of viewers who love us. Dear Rai, for me you are not the political party that governs you, you are Enzo Biagi, Mike Bongiorno, Piero and Alberto Angela, Pippo Baudo, Renzo Arbore, my beloved Raffaella – and the list goes on -. You leave me with extraordinary memories, and besides, I’m the idiot Fabio that I have to “put to the test of the nine”. Thanks to Fabio for all the years together. The only moderator who beats him when he gets bad scores and beats him twice as often when he gets great scores. Dear Rai, let’s stay friends, who knows if we’ll see each other again one day, in another Italy where freedom is respected. In an Italy where a minister doesn’t care what an acrobat does. Don’t forget that public service belongs to everyone, those who rule and those who think differently.” Finally, the dig at Salvini: “Ps Bello ciao”.
