The saga of Irene (Gloria Pires) will be intense at the end of Terra e Paixão. After playing Nazaré Tedesco and kidnapping Graça's son (Agatha Moreira), things continue to get difficult for the villain until she is finally arrested. She will team up with Vinícius (Paulo Rocha) because she believes he will help her, but the boy will be allied with police chief Marino (Leandro Lima) in Globo's nine o'clock soap opera. The geologist will then hand the villain over to the police.
At this point, Antônio (Tony Ramos) will already know about his wife's involvement in the death of Daniel (Johnny Massaro). That's why he doesn't care about her arrest. In fact, the exprostitute will only try to win Vinícius back because she is alone in the world. Her husband will throw her out of the house once the truth comes out.
Petra (Debora Ozório) will not take care of her mother either, and the Dondoca will cling to the only person she believes can love her: Danielzinho, son of Graça and Marino whom she has long considered her held grandchildren. The impostor will pick up the child and run all over the city with him on his lap, just like Renata Sorrah's character in Senhora do Destino (2004).
In the meantime, she will find Vinícius and charm him. The boy, in turn, will pretend to be receptive to the bad girl's plan. But she just has to turn her back for the boy to call Marino and reveal where he is. The policeman will go to the location, save the son and arrest the character of Gloria Pires. She will end the soap opera in prison and pay for her sins.
Terra e Paixão was written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes. The story takes place in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The storyline will remain on air until January 19th and will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
