One of the biggest traditions of the New Year is related to the color of the clothes used on New Year’s Eve. Colors can have a psychological impact on people, stimulating some and soothing others, as they are perceived by sight and transmitted to the brain, consequently reflecting impulses and reactions to the body.

In this way, each color is believed to have meaning, especially in the New Year and influence the energies of the next 365 days. In Brazil, most people spend New Year’s Eve dressed in white, which symbolizes peace and purity. Those who are looking for love in the coming year, on the other hand, usually opt for pink or red, tones that are associated with love or passion.

Márcia Sensitiva, known on social networks for her famous predictions, commented on the main colors to be worn on New Year’s Eve in an interview on November 22nd with Podcats, a podcast presented by Camila Loures and Lucas Guimarães.

Márcia argued that the most appropriate clothing color for New Year’s Eve 2022 is the traditional white. However, if you want to concentrate on love, more sex, money and Co. for 2023, the sensitive little ones have indicated different colors for underwear such as panties and underwear at the turn of the year.

“Who wants a lot of sex or ‘crushes’: underwear or red panties. Do you want money? All yellow. If you want health like me, I’m an old lady, (panties) white or purple,” emphasized Márcia. For those who plan to get married in 2023 or for those who are “stuck”, the color of panties or underwear will be pink.

What does each color mean:

White: Peace, Light and Fulfillment.

Red: passion, boldness and courage.

Orange: vitality, mood and joy.

Yellow: prosperity, wealth and abundance.

Green: Hope, health and balance.

Blue: calm, harmony and understanding.

Lilac: connection, intuition and wisdom.

Pink: love, forgiveness and gratitude.
