It doesn’t appear that Kliff Kingsbury, who was fired as Arizona Cardinals coach earlier this week, is currently interested in offensive coordinators.
After FOX sportsKingsbury has bought himself a one-way ticket to Thailand and has no plans to interview despite interest from several teams in hiring him as OC.
Kingsbury’s contract with the Cardinals was guaranteed through the 2026 season with an option for 2027. He went 28-37-1 in four seasons at the top.

A number of teams have vacancies in the offensive coordinator position, including the Patriots, Commanders, Rams, Jets and Titans, as well as teams that will have a new coaching staff in 2023.
Kingsbury, 42, is a friend of Rams head coach Sean McVay and also has ties to the Patriots as a former backup quarterback.
With at least three years left on his contract, Kingsbury doesn’t seem desperate to collect his next salary and is poised for an Aaron Rodgers-esque trip to Asia to take some time off the football field .
It’s been a horror season for the Cardinals, who went 4-13 and have since fired both Kingsbury and general manager Steve Keim.
They also lost superstar quarterback Kyler Murray to an ACL injury that could keep him out for all of next season, and quotes from an unnamed Cardinals player this week have only fueled the flames of discontent.

Steve Keim was also fired as the Cardinals’ general manager after a bad year
Speaking to Bally Sports after their season finale last weekend, the unnamed veteran said “it was like they created a monster” when they gave Murray a huge new deal in the off-season to tie him to the franchise.
They further claimed that once his huge salary was guaranteed, Murray “felt less of an urge to study his game plan or meet expectations for the franchise QB position than he had in the past.”
Murray’s ‘learning’ struggles were on full display in pre-season when his contract was leaked and it was noted in the fine print that he had to ‘complete four hours of independent study’ every game week.
After a media storm, the team removed the clause, but it was soon reported that Murray’s relationship with coach Kingsbury had already started to deteriorate.

The Cardinals made the playoffs in 2021 and as such their downfall that season was particularly notable, leaving them in a huge mess without their star quarterback, coach or general manager until 2023.
Additionally, it was reported this week that the team is planning to trade its star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, despite having two years and over $34 million left on his current deal.
JJ Watt has also retired, leaving large gaps in the roster and front office for anyone who takes charge.
