Fired Democratic senator aide, 24, who made gay sex videos in Senate could face criminal charges after X-rated clip hits internet: Will be convicted of suggesting he was the victim

A Democratic congressman who was fired for making a gay sex video in the Senate may face criminal charges after his X-rated clip hit the internet.

Aidan Maese-Czeropski, 24, was fired by Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin on Saturday afternoon, less than a day after a salacious video surfaced showing two men having sex in a Senate hearing room.

Capitol Police are reportedly currently investigating the explicit incident, which occurred in the same room where Supreme Court nominees are questioned by senators.

The adviser, who appeared in a 2020 campaign video with Joe Biden, already sparked backlash when he posted his own statement on LinkedIn on Friday evening, claiming that he was “being attacked because he likes to pursue a political agenda.”

“Although some of my actions in the past have demonstrated poor judgment, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace,” he said.

“Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will explore what legal options are available to me in these matters.”

While the troubled staffer says he is considering legal action, he may have support from Capitol Police, who are reportedly investigating whether he broke any laws. These can include trespassing and obscenity.

Maese-Czeropski's mother, Magdalena Rivera Maese, was contacted by on Saturday morning, shortly before his dismissal was confirmed, and suggested that her son had been disturbed by what had happened, saying: “They don't want to know how it happened him.”

But his fortunes may be getting worse as an investigation has reportedly been launched into the video, which was originally said to have been shared in a private group chat for gay men on The Hill.

According to attorney Jonathan Turley, there are a number of laws that may have been violated, including whether unofficial use of the hearing room could be considered trespassing.

He added that the footage could get the employee into legal trouble if it was filmed in a public space to generate revenue or if it could depict a lewd, indecent or obscene act.

There are also reportedly doubts about whether he misused or damaged government property.

Just days before the videos surfaced, Jewish congressman Max Miller told the Washington Free Beacon that Maese-Czeropski confronted him and shouted “Free Palestine” in his face.

Maese-Czeropski said of these allegations: “As to the allegations against Congressman Max Miller, I have never seen the Congressman and had no opportunity or reason to yell at him or confront him.”

Footage of the affair, first reported by the Daily Caller, shows a young male staffer leaning over a conference room in the Hart Senate Office Building.

Another man stands behind him and films the sex act they are performing in X-rated detail.

The staffer is seen in a separate image naked and on all fours at a table where senators often sit and ask questions during hearings.

The footage was allegedly shared in a private group for gay men in the political scene and reportedly appeared on a now-deleted account on X.

Its owner identifies as a “twink” (young gay man with a smooth body) who has sex with his older “bear” partner.

According to his LinkedIn, Maese-Czeropski has worked in Cardin's office since October 2021 and previously worked as a field organizer for the Democratic Party in Virginia and as a climate researcher for the charity Friends of the Earth.

Cardin announced his resignation at the end of his current term in May, and his office did not comment on the allegations against his staffer. Maese-Czeropski did not immediately respond to attempts to contact him.

Congressman Mike Collins responded to the video on social media and criticized the alleged staffer's actions.

“One hell of a week for the left,” he wrote. “Gay porn in the Senate, child porn swearing-in ceremony in Virginia, horny tap dancers in the White House and satanic statues in Iowa. 'What else am I missing?'

Maese-Czeropski allegedly caused a separate incident just days before the explicit videos surfaced, when Republican Congressman Max Miller of Ohio accused him of confronting him over his support for Israel.

Miller claimed to the Washington Free Beacon that Maese-Czeropski marched toward him outside a cafe in the Cannon House office building on Wednesday while he was in the middle of an interview with NBC News' Ali Vitali.

Miller said the aide was “visibly shaking” as he made a beeline toward him and felt the employee was “very upset around me because he's a snowflake.”

“And he immediately came back to me and said, 'Liberate Palestine,'” Miller said.

“And I was like, 'Okay'… I'm not going to give him a reaction because that's what he wants.”

Miller claimed that Vitali was stunned by the exchange and called it “blatant anti-Semitism.”

Vitali did not go so far in her own comments about the incident, Spell on X: “A House staffer just walked past GOP Rep. Max Miller — who is Jewish and has supported sending aid workers to Israel — and said, “Liberate Palestine.”

“It’s quite rare and breathtaking to see staff challenge members in this way.”

The aide denied the allegations in his statement to LinkedIn, claiming he “never saw the congressman and had no opportunity or reason to yell at or confront him.”
