Since Saturday, five people have been trapped in a cave in Slovenia: three adult Slovenians from the same family and two guides. The five people were visiting the Krizna Jama cave, located in the Inner Karst province in the southwest of the country, when sudden heavy rains increased the water level inside and prevented them from leaving. The five people are currently about two kilometers from the exit (the cave is eight kilometers long in total): they were reached by a group of rescuers and divers, about forty people in total, who set up an emergency shelter to wait for the water level to drop.
