In times of heightened sensitivity, Rio Grande do Sul lawyer Luiz Antônio Beck was brave in his comment on Radio Guaíba:
“Dino, this is total hypocrisy. Nothing against obese people, but he is an obese person. And an obese communist is one thing. Three or four families could eat what he eats every day,” said the lawyer, referring to Justice Minister Flávio Dino.
Flávio Dino reacted immediately, demanding a public recant after being labeled an “obese communist”.
“I learned that you were making aggressive, biased and criminal comments against me on a radio station in Rio Grande do Sul,” Flávio Dino wrote on Wednesday, April 18.
“I expect withdrawal. In any case, I predict that I do not envy the misery of those who need a penal code, a code of ethics and a mirror.”
The minister should ignore such comments as he has much more serious problems to solve in Brasilia.
The respected journalist Augusto Nunes did not forgive in his social networks:
“Flávio Dino promises to sue ‘because of prejudice’ which categorizes him as ‘obese’ and ‘communist’.
The problem is whoever says the minister is thin and democratic can guarantee themselves a place in the fake news poll.
It’s better to call Dino ‘the governor of Maranhão who made things worse’…” he wrote.
