Flavored Heinz sauce dispensers coming soon to restaurants

Do you dream of trying Heinz ketchup with jalapeno? Or Heinz Mango BBQ Sauce? If the food giant has its way, your dream will soon become a reality.

Heinz announced on Wednesday that work is being done on a new sauce dispenser for the catering industry.

At the vending machine, customers can select a base sauce, such as ketchup, BBQ sauce, or ranch sauce, and add one or more flavors to modify the taste, including jalapeno, smoked chipotle, buffalo, or mango flavors.

“These base sauces and flavors will always change. […] We will listen to the feedback from our consumers,” Diana Frost, director of development for Kraft Heinz in North America, said in an interview with CNN.

The machine is unveiled to great fanfare at the National Association of Restaurant Owners Expo in Chicago.

Eventually, Heinz dreams of starting installing its vending machines in restaurants in late 2023 and early 2024 as part of a pilot project.
