Federal MP Alexandre Frota (ProsSP) said he filed a complaint with the Supreme Electoral Court against Pastor André Valadão today (20/10) after the religious lied that he had been intimidated by the TSE. According to Frota, the Bolsonarian pastor may have presented an incorrect court decision for election purposes. Falsifying public documents for this purpose is an electoral crime punishable by imprisonment for up to six years.

On Wednesday evening, Valadão took to social media to retreat in relation to false information he had published about former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). According to him, the TSE would have determined that he made the video. In the publication he holds a document that would be the summons of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, President of the Electoral Court. However, the information is wrong. According to the TSE, there is no such subpoena.

According to Frota, Valadão wanted to reduce the weight of judicial decisions during electoral periods. “I have just filed a complaint against Pastor André Valadão where he presented a wrong court decision yesterday, for electoral purposes this is a crime,” he said.
