French singer Florent Pagny, who had to cancel part of his 2022 tour due to lung cancer, will return to the stage for a series of festivals in 2023, he announced on social media on Thursday.

He has released the names of twelve festivals he will be performing at in France and Switzerland (Sion) in June and July. More concerts will be announced later, the release said, which didn’t provide any information on the 61-year-old singer’s health.
Less than a year ago he announced that he had to cancel the remaining 30 concerts of his 60th birthday tour to undergo treatment for a cancer in his lungs. In March he took part in a concert in support of Ukraine.
Florent Pagny, historical judge for TF1 broadcaster The Voice tele-hook show with nine seasons on the clock, had continued recording for the edition that ended in May but will not be attending the twelfth season next year.
