The mobility specialist takes over the management of the KIR Group and its Smartmove brand. Enables optimal use and utilization of vehicle fleets.
Delivery bottlenecks, rising costs and climate awareness demand smart mobility solutions that meet the demands of the economy. Smartmove makes profitable use of existing resources to significantly increase mobility performance with existing fleet size
Florian Loeschenberger, Managing Director, KIR Group & smart movement
Vienna (OTS/LCG) – Florian Loeschenberger (42) is the new General Manager of the Austrian KIR Group, specializing in innovative solutions for managing car fleets with its Share Me and Smartmove brands. The company’s existing fleets can be centrally managed in a car-sharing concept and accessible to multiple users. This allows downtimes to be drastically reduced and existing resources to be used optimally. In the context of new car bottlenecks, the use of Smartmove technology offers companies a pioneering opportunity to use existing fleets more efficiently. Existing cars are connected to the centrally manageable web platform by installing a sharing kit. Authorized users can access the cars via the smartphone app, which allows for efficient use of the pool cars. Smartmove’s innovative concept protects finances and the environment: using a car as a swimming pool car avoids up to four new registrations. The wide range of possible uses for the vehicles gives employees an added incentive while at the same time reducing the number of new cars on Austria’s roads in the long run. Smartmove supports fleet expansion and the introduction of electric cars into existing fleets in conjunction with mobility partners and thus enables access to new cars in a fiscally attractive way.
“Supply bottlenecks, rising costs and climate awareness demand smart mobility solutions that meet the demands of the economy. Smartmove makes existing resources cost-effective to significantly increase mobility performance from the size of the existing fleet”, summarizes Löschberger.
Florian Loeschenberger was born in Salzburg in 1980 and studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration with a focus on transport and logistics and international study visits to the Asian University of Science and Technology and the Kiev National University of Economics. After initial professional positions at The Swatch Group and Porsche AG in Stuttgart, he joined DB Schenker in 2010 as a transport specialist responsible for transport logistics for mobile phone manufacturer Nokia in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2012 he moved to Blaguss as operations manager, where he restructured subsidiaries in Hungary and Slovakia and led the implementation of a new IT system for bus dispatch. As of 2013 he accompanied Dr. Richard the entry into the European market of Flixbus as well as the planning of international and national routes with responsibility for several subsidiaries in Germany and abroad. In 2017, as Country Director, he introduced Bolt (then Taxify) to Austria and, within a year, became the market leader with the European ride-sharing company. Most recently, Löschenberger worked as Regional General Manager in Austria, Germany and Switzerland for the Finnish mobility as a service pioneer MaaS Global, which enables the intermodal use of different modes of transport with the Whim app.
