On June 14, 2021, a video can be seen of Jerich starting the engine of his father’s white pickup truck flying the Trump blue flag at the intersection of NE First Street and NE Second Avenue in Delray Beach.
He then spins the wheels as his father’s truck drives diagonally across the intersection, leaving 20-foot-long black skid marks over the intersection, painted in the colors of the gay pride movement’s rainbow flag. It was painted on the road just the day before to celebrate the local LGBT festival.
His tires smoke and screech as the truck pulls into the oncoming lane, and the cars around him honk, either in disgust or celebrating his vandalism.
Alexander Jerich, 20, of Lake Worth, Florida, confessed in a Palm Beach County court to felony, mischief and reckless driving.
Jerich was part of a convoy of about 30 cars and trucks formed to celebrate the former president’s birthday.
*** UPDATE: I read that the Delray Beach police identified and arrested a man *** I thought the Trumpers were for “law and order”? Apparently this is not the case… This Delray Beach Pride crosswalk was only a couple of days old before this man RAISING HIS TRUMP FLAG decided to ruin it. The hypocrisy is limitless. (I didn’t make this video)

He was part of a convoy of about 30 cars and trucks formed to celebrate the former president’s birthday.
The video went viral after being posted on social media.
The streetscape was unveiled just a day earlier to celebrate Pride Month, which is meant to promote LGBTQ rights.
Jerich reported to Delray police on June 17, but declined to comment at the time.
He faces up to five years behind bars and a $5,000 fine.
Delray Beach stepped out on June 12 for the opening of the rainbow-painted intersection in honor of Pride Month.
