Paul Kerouac is suing Dunkin' Donuts after he says a toilet at a Florida store exploded while he was going about his business, leaving him traumatized and covered from head to toe in feces.
Kerouac said the jarring explosion on Jan. 6, 2022 left him “covered in debris, including human feces and urine,” according to the lawsuit filed Wednesday in Florida's 9th Judicial District.
“After the toilet explosion, the plaintiff left the men's room and sought help from employees and managers [the] “It was the defendant’s responsibility to clean himself as he continued to be covered in human feces and urine after exiting the men’s room,” the lawsuit states.
Making matters worse, Kerouac claims that workers at the Orange County cafe admitted they knew there were “restroom issues.”

He is demanding that the coffee giant pay over $50,000 and legal fees and claims that he now needs psychological care and counseling “due to the trauma he experienced in the toilet in the defendant's building and the ongoing trauma following the incident.” need”.
Kerouac says the terrible mishap caused him “physical and psychological harm” as well as “permanent and significant emotional injury, mental anguish, loss of ability to enjoy life, medical care and treatment costs.”
Dunkin' Donuts officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.
